Keeps my legacy time clocks ticking.
This traditional NiCd battery worked well, just what I needed.
I tried a supposedly compatible NiMh battery, but the time clock didn't recognize it properly.
I'll stick with this product.

Replacing the operator beats replacing the window.
Well, I don't know if it's really a 5 star product, but I'm happy that it is available. I've had several of these operators fail in my home, and being able to open the windows again is nice. I was wondering if I'd need to go ahead and get all the windows replaced, but this helps push that out a bit. Hopefully whatever we end up with won't have the problems these Andersen operators had. Maybe this replacement is improved over the originals?

Doesn't have the cutout for the proximity sensor
The product is as pictured, so I can only blame myself for not seeing that this cover doesn't have the cutout for the proximity sensor at the top. I butchered one of mine with a craft knife to make the cutout just to be safe. Some devices have trouble when the sensor is covered others seem unfazed, but to be safe - get a cover with the right cutouts instead.
