Your Economic Future
In the light of increasing debt both in the governmental and private sector, the author paints a realistic scenario of what happens when paper money goes bad. Her characters reflect the disconcerting unbelief of watching and participating in the illusion of the benefit of debt disintegrate before their eyes. The author's use of descriptive adjectives forced me to keep a dictionary nearby and only added detail to the picture being painted. With ease complex economic principles are woven into the narrative and provide understanding as to why a currency collapse is not merely theory but inescapable reality. More than the novel, The Mandibles could give you advance warning of the greatest economic implosion to ever occur on planet Earth.

The Best Modern Missionary Account
In my opinion, Bruchko is one of the best missionary stories ever written. Bruce is now in his late 60’s and still lives among the Motolone people, most of whom have become dedicated Christians. Over the years they've sent missionaries to other South American tribes, and these indigenous people have witnessed firsthand the life-transforming and culture changing power of the Gospel. I heard Bruce speak in the late 1970’s and was impressed by his humble, simple presentation. By human standards Bruce Olson is not an outstanding human being. But his determination to follow Jesus at any cost sets him apart in the annals of heaven. If God can use ordinary Bruce Olson to evangelize a nation, then God can use ordinary me! By following his example of unswerving obedience, Jesus will strategically use your life to reach others, and lay up treasure in heaven that can never fade away or be corrupted. (1 Peter 1:4) It is my prayer that this book plants a seed of fire in your heart that will propel you forward to fulfill Jesus’ call upon your life.
