Oreck XL Pro 5: Powerful & Quiet
2 of 2 found this helpful The Oreck XL Pro 5 BB900DGR Compact Canister Vacuum is an absolutely SPECTACULAR vacuum cleaner! Suction is extremely powerful for a vacuum of this size. For the amount of power it has, this vacuum is surprisingly quiet, too! It is well-built and easy to operate - plus it comes with a generous 30-foot power cord, which is more than enough for most household vacuuming tasks. Oh! Also! The newer models now come with an extendable accessory wand, which can extend from 20" to 30" (in 1" increments) at the press of a button.
The Oreck XL Pro 5 Compact Canister Vacuum is the perfect companion for my Oreck XL U2000RB-1 Upright Vacuum. - Together, with these two vacuums, I can successfully complete any vacuuming challenge with ease, efficiency, and effectiveness.
My Oreck XL Pro 5 makes vacuuming an absolute JOY! 🌪️🥳

Must-Have Oreck Accessory
This is an extremely easy-to-install part that significantly strengthens the handle of any Oreck Upright Vacuum Cleaner.
Installation of this part (2 screws) reinforces the Oreck handle at what would otherwise be the weakest point, and turns the flimsy "handle attachment point" into a sturdy & robust connection; providing increased strength, sturdiness, & durability to the handle of Oreck Upright Vacuums.
This part comes installed on Commercial Oreck vacuums from the factory, but is not present on most Residential Oreck vacuums.
For under $20, you can install this small upgrade on ANY Oreck Upright vacuum & noticeably increase the strength of your Oreck's handle.
I especially recommend this part to anyone who regularly lifts or carries their Oreck Vacuum by the Handle, because that's what causes the most strain to the connection point where the two halves of the handle join together. - This part is specifically designed to strengthen that connection point.
In conclusion, for anyone who owns an Oreck Vacuum & wants to make it last longer - this is a *MUST-HAVE UPGRADE*... The fact that it's less than $20 and installs with only two phillips-head screws makes this a *NO-BRAINER* upgrade for your Oreck Vacuum(s).
