This item is NOT ready for prime time.
The instruction manual is poor so unless you are an experienced user of converter boxes and are willing to suffer through "trial and error" learning plus dealing with a box that is only 75% functional save your money and try a different box. This item won't permanently save the date, the time, or the "deleted" channels list - It frequently erases the settings once you have them programmed. The "operating" system for responding to the remote is flawed - the system doesn't do what the key press says. The "signal strength" display always says "90%" so antenna adjustment relies on turning the antenna until you find the best picture. I can go on but I hope you get the idea.
