A stroll back to simpler times with a huge cast of notable stars
Although the movie may start off a little slow for some, I personally call this a classic, a must see once a year. The story lends of life, family, what's important and how all life is a chain. As the story picks up, you will find yourself laughing at some of zany antics, yet , yet there is a serious side. Walther Matthau's character, and by the way, the movie is directed by his son, who has a couple of cameo appearances, reflects on his late wife, and remembering asking her if she was happy. It dawns on him that had he really known her, he would have known if she was happy. Funny movie, but deep, I understand it is a take off of Truman Capote's life.
