This Xeon processor works perfectly and was a tremendous upgrade for an old X99 system.

C-mount to m42, simple but effective
This ring adapter makes it easy to fit C-mount lenses into m42 bodies or adapters. I've used it to attach a C-mount lens to a M42 focusing helical which allows for fast macro focusing using C-mount lenses. Coincidentally the 50mm Componar enlarging lens also uses a 25mm mount like the C-mount, and I've attached that lens to the camera with infinity focusing.
This adapter is simply a piece of metal with threads for m42 on the outside and 25mm on the inside. There's not much to go wrong. The threads are well-defined and correct, the metal is flat without defect and the adapter is painted black. The only thing to be aware of is since it simply screws into the mount, there is no stop when the adapter is screwed in all the way. I don't consider this a defect, but it is something to be aware of.

The best inexpensive way to mount Contax-mount lenses on your mirrorless camera
This adapter works as promised. I was able to mount both the Jupiter 8M and Helios 103 without issues. Everything works pretty much the same as if it were on a Kiev. Being able to focus closer than on a Kiev body was useful. If you keep focusing closer and closer, at some point the helical comes out of the mount. I do wish there were a way to keep that from happening, but it's not a show-stopper and it definitely won't happen accidentally. I don't have any external mount lenses (with their own helicals) to test with this adapter, but it seems like they would be an impractical fit, and there are other adapters for that purpose.
This is a very good value for the money considering the mount is a combination of a Kiev and a L39 adapter. If I hadn't already had the two lenses, I would have bought the adapter lens combo.
