Not waterproof, not even water resistant.
This was listed as "waterproof". It's not waterproof at all, not even water resistant. There's no seal whatsoever to prevent water or humidity from damaging the circuit board. I installed it in the shower and it was dead after 3 weeks. I didn't have water splashing directly on it, I guess the humidity killed it. I tried drying it out to repair but gave up after a week. Totally dead. It's manufactured using glue so I couldn't open to attempt repairs. Maybe it would be suitable for use in a dry area.

Pretty good 480p conversion
Plug it into your Wii, add an HDMI cable, set your Wii to HD and you're all set. The audio sounds much better than the analog signal. You might have to change the sound settings on your TV or receiver. 480i and 480p conversion is beautiful. Does a great job with GameCube games too. There's some slight interference: some subtle diagonal waves. But, considering the price, I'm very happy with it.

An under-appreciated classic for PS3
You know in the classic Tomb Raider games, how Lara would go around ruthlessly killing everyone she saw but she was supposed to be a heroic protagonist? Well, there's none of that ambiguity with Wet. The main character, Rubi is an angry, vengeful killer who curses like a pro. It's like Tomb Raider in many ways. You'll be doing as much climbing and swinging as shooting. But the shooting is way more fun. The violence is gratuitous but it feels right because it's set inside a 1970's grindhouse movie. It's not real violence, it's fake movie violence with over-the-top explosions and gushing blood. The enemies feel like movie characters and Hollywood extras... that's an aspect that's emphasized all the way through the game. The story and dialogue are cliche but the right kind of cliche that keeps you immersed inside the silly action movie environment. There are a few quick-time action sequences at just the right moments but not enough to be obtrusive. I was expecting some sexism...prepared to cringe at some damsel in distress storyline elements. Nope. Rubi is full-on furious and in charge of the situation all the way though. The graphics aren't the prettiest you've even seen on the PS3. Sometimes it looks like a HD remake of a PS2 game, especially when you get close to the faces. But it works fine. Sound and music are superb. Lots of grindhouse twangy slide guitar. It's not a very long game but you might want to replay it to try it again with different skill and weapon upgrades. I know I will.
