0 of 2 found this helpful Easy to assembly, feels sturdy except for the hard plastic handle feels cheap. The controls are a little confusing at first and took a 2nd look through the book. Very adjustable, this detector will fit a detectorist of almost any size but it's a little heavy for my 6 year old. Bench test was good but field test showed flaws. machine was very chatty even after adjusting sensitivity and frequency. it made it hard to lock in on targets. depth was nothing special 4 - 6 inches at best. Target ID was all over the place and I ended up digging anything with a good tone.
In my opinion it's a little to advanced for a beginner but doesn't perform enough for someone with a little experience.

0 of 1 found this helpful Carbon fiber? - feels more like cheap plastic. The slide is loose and sloppy. Calipers seem to be accurate for now but I don't see that lasting long. It does convert from inch to mm which is nice. Spend a little more and get better quality.
