Great lens, low cost.
1 of 1 found this helpful The lens is very light and takes great pics. Does NOT autofocus with my D3100, but I knew that going in and rarely use autofocus anyway. Fantastic low-light performance. The pics are best around F/2.8 and up. Love the lens, and it was VERY inexpensive when bought used!

Horrible noise floor
There is a "swooshing" sound that will not go away. The sound is much like you hear when you put a seashell up to your ear. The sound is easily overcome by the music, but on quiet passages it is unbearable. I spoke with another person who had the same issue with this particular board. There are other dual-chip TPA3116 boards, buy one of those.
