Best mixer in this price range

For field mixers in this price range (used prices) the FP33-3 is a great choice, a real workhorse of the industry. They are easy to use, they sound good and they stand up to a lot of abuse. I have used them on 4 continents and never been disappointed. This unit I bought was pretty much perfect - only the slate tone didn't work...everything else was like brand new condition.

Sturdy, great stability with some caveats

Sturdy, great stability and robust wheels. It definitely is heavy - may have been better served using aluminum rather than steel. The expansion feature is sticky and with rust over time may be an issue. Otherwise, it really makes a difference in carting music gear.
