Plate colour
Why, why did Lego put a 2 x 8 grey plate in a prominent place on a mainly all red model deviating away from the original source material colour palette.

Old style lego technic shock cycle 8838
If you grew up building Lego Technic in the old block style, you will love this set
The set has a modest amount of parts ,which entails a quick building time
With the four colour scheme being very complementary
At the end of building you have a model which is a product of its day and time
The only really weak feature is the kick stand
With some extra pieces from your spares box subtle modifications can be made to enhance the bike to make it more realistic
