A great deal
1 of 1 found this helpful This Lee unit worked perfect right out of the box. I cast 7 different black powder rounds from a .433 to .69 including the .58 Minie. What's nice is the dispenser is just the nicest feature after having "ladled" the lead for years. The only thing that is a slight draw back is because of the dispenser rod goes through the pot it is a bit confined for skimming the dross/slag off the top. But hey, the efficiency is so much better and the casting is quicker. Heat up time for 3 pounds of lead was about 12-15 minutes. But hey, we black-powder guys aren't usually in a hurry.
