I am very happy with the iD24. This is the second Audient interface I have owned and have found both to have excellent build quality paired with a very flexible software mixer. The iD24's effects inserts are a great upgrade that allow even more flexibility: tracking with external hardware effects, bypassing the internal preamps when using an external preamp, and other uses. I recommend watching Audient's videos that illustrate the many possibilities.
