shelf size portable
3 of 3 found this helpful Didn't realize this was so small. Seems okay as far as sound. For me, it's difficult to tune in radio stations, switch between radio, cd, & tape. Small dials & print on side difficult for me to read.
Overall, it is a good unit. I primarily use to play cd's in my basement. After reading instruction manual you can operate fairly easily.

nice bathroom mirror
basic, simple, vanity mirror at a reasonable price.

brighter than flourescent
Bought these to supplement existing fluorescent lights in my basement. Much brighter than fluorescent, even under prisms in suspended ceiling panels. Don't need to worry about ever changing bulbs. Manufacturer recommends plugging into outlets mounted in ceiling. This was not a problem for me. I'm considering additional similar fixtures to hang in other areas without suspended ceilings.
