Impossible to fit.
Look at your HTC Desire closely...
There is no way to fit the battery unless you open up the main body of your phone - invalidating warranty - removing the copper connecting tapes and possibly messing up your Android permanently...see YouTube

No sticky out bits
This is perfect for the Ukulele fret board because it has no sticky out bits...the fret board is small on the Ukulele and it's tough enough getting chunky fingers squeezed onto the strings without having to manoeuvre around grip handles or serrated metal ratchets......this is flat, smooth and most importantly...no sticky out bits...
