Day of the Dead: Ultimate Edition (BR + PAL DVD) [New Blu-ray] With DVD, Austr

Best bluray of this movie currently available anywhere

I have watched this bluray in its entirety on a very high quality 4k Atmos home theater system. I have all the blurays currently available worldwide looking for the best audio and video presentation. As it stands right now the Umbrella ultimate edition is the best presentation of this movie you can buy right now. Here is why. Video The previous king used to be Shouts release but the color were too warm also there was some black crush going on that made some details hard to make out. Details were detailed and sharp. Umbrellas new release fixes the color to a less red and more natural balance and it is a very big difference to be honest. Also detail is better i switched back and forth and noticed some detail enhancements in this new version mostly in overall clarity. Gamma has been raised slightly to fix the black crush and its much better now. Grain is intact. This was not placebo I really looked at both versions and this new release is my favorite all others will collect dust now. Sound- DTS 5.1 Master audio on Umbrella Shout is mono big win not even close also soundtrack where "Shit" is replaced by "Right" has been fixed in the 5.1 for this release Perfect. Extras are really good missing a little stuff but I have all the other releases so its fine for me. One nitpick extras are on a DVD really????? that's kind of cheap to be honest I would have paid the extra even if a lot of the content is 480p still blurays are more hearty Oh well. This is the best seriously I know some will be a little bothered by the 1.77 aspect vs. 1.85 its not that big of a deal really I looked at all of them many times and I am ok with it and I'm pretty picky about things. This is the best so far until 4k bluray from the camera negative (hope!!!!). This is an honest review and I have the equipment to really see the differences. This is worth the money and the version I will be watching from now on without a doubt.
