multiplayer well below Counter Strike or Red Orchestra
I strongly dislike multiplayer on this game. Bunch of players with 5 star general rating playing for months without any skills. All maps are very closed, without any open space Arab slums, I never saw anything like it in reality. One of the major methods is random shooting through walls, because there is no friendly fire on most of the servers. MG in this map are very inaccurate and cannot be well deployed. Bombs dropped from airplane have damage like hand grenades, and helicopter can be destroyed with 1-2 assault rifle mags. Modern warfare compensate it with some magic like in RPG. Tiny fractions of servers play FF modes, with friendly fire the game is mostly the same as old counter strike. Game does not worth its price. Single player is a mess and well below crysis.
Bottom line: Red Orchestra is well superior to COD4 in all aspects, including real skills of game players, really power artillery, miles of map with tanks, and fight at all distance ranges from close to a mile. But Red Orchestra is too complex game for 10 year old.
