Arrived broken
The toaster arrived broken, it was not sufficiently packaged for shipping. After receiving a partial reimbursement of my payment, I have discovered the toaster will not shut off, even on the lowest setting (at first, I thought I needed to adjust the darkness setting). It does toast evenly, which is what I was looking for in a new toaster. I would purchase this toaster again, but from somewhere I could return it easily. For now, I will set a timer when making toast.
