Device allows cloning and HD storage
Cable is 8.5 inches long. Cable allowed me to connect 2.5" HD to computer USB port and clone an SSD to transfer Windows 7 and Xubuntu. There was a very noticeable speed increase plus I now have the HD for storage or backup.

Good portable system and backup for my desktop PC
I previously had a netbook with a 7" screen. That screen size was too small. I like this notebook very much, it came with Windows 7 Professional. I thought Windows was a little slow, so I partitioned the drive to allow 40G for LinuxMint which runs faster. Now I have both systems. The speaker volume seems a little weak. I had a 16G micro SD card so I plugged it in with my music collection. There's no DVD option but the USB ports(3) allow a mouse, printer plug in if needed, and file transfers.
