Ugly in photos, beautiful in person.
I was very reluctant to buy this knife as it looked like one hell of an ugly knife in the pictures I looked at. However the mystique of Cold Steel knifes and their tri-lock allured me to try one out someday. One evening while having a few drinks, my level of acceptance broke down and I ordered one of these beasts. When I woke up in the morning with the Cold Steel Large Voyager next to my side I wasn't disappointed as I had been in the past when I had had a drunken night and regretted my previous night's activities. What I saw was a very decent, solid looking, very sharp, well put together piece that one would like to have with them if they ever came across a rabid grizzly bear. I polished up the contact points on this knife and I hate to admit that something I had avoided for such a long time became my babe of all blades to carry. This knife is one of the most overlooked knives of all time. If you think you are manly, then do yourself a favor and buy something like the Voyager that can match the manliness that you think you have...

Slip-slide of the Cryo II
This is a well put together knife. Only issue I have with it is that it is very slippery. Expect to put some skateboard/traction tape on it. Other than that it is my second favorite knife. I recommend it.

Great knife for great price.
I bought the version with D2 steel. What a great buy. With D2 you have a better than average steel and the knife is easy to deploy the blade. The traction is decent and it is a well put together solid steel. This knife is worth more than you will pay for.
