A good all around Discman
2 of 2 found this helpful What it lacks the deep bass and richness of some of the older discmen (such as the D-50, D-31, D-777, etc), the D-E350 makes up for in economy (usually about $20 these days), portability (it's light weight and only a little bigger than a CD and features ESP), and battery economics (the two AA batteries can play for hours and hours). Definitely a much better audio experience than any iPod/phone or MP3 player I've ever used, and much cheaper and more durable

A Fine Discman
The Sony D-777 is probably the best sounding Discman that features electronic buffering to prevent skipping. Given that even the worst Discman sounds a world better than an iPod/MP3 player/phone, this is an absolute must. Plus it features a line out for playing through speaker systems.

Excellent WiFi card
Friends, this is the WiFi card you want for any router home-build. Great driver support across many operating systems, and excellent performance on both 2.4 and 5 GHZ bands.
