Nice bit of kit

This boom box plays almost every format you can think of, the only exception I can think of is vinyl. From tapes to usb stick it copes with the lot. I like this machine a lot and it's given old formats a new lease of life. I've only had this machine a matter of weeks and it's performed well but I've only given 4 stars as this is the second of these boom boxes I've had. The first lost it's sound so had to be returned but it was a shop display model so it's usage was a mystery. As this was bought new I'm expecting better things.

Gets better with practise

Other reviewers mentioned the width of the guides could be troublesome as they left little "sawing" room when used with a normal bread knife and this indeed was the case. Even when used with an electric knife there is little room for movement and you have to be careful to keep your knife of choice between the guides. That said once you know of this problem you can compensate for it and the bread does come out uniformly sliced (if a little on the thick side). The guides themselves are a soft plastic and do wobble quite easily during use and I can understand how others have experienced them breaking. The crumb catcher base works quite well in avoiding mess on work tops but after just a couple of loaves the base is developing grooves where the knife has cut, don't yet know how this will develop. Overall happy with slicing guide but it takes a bit of practise to get the best results.

Basic darts wallet at a good price. Big enough for long darts or those with longer stems. Handy for slipping a set of darts in the pocket.
