Aocome Portable Mini AM FM Radio Clear Speaker Music Player, Micro SD/TF Card

Good radio for FM listening.
I like to listen to talk radio. Unfortunately most of the stations I listen to are on AM. Reception on FM is great, loud and clear. AM is really poor, unless your really close to the tower. The MP3 player works great, but it is sequential, although you can use the buttons to jump to the next track. Easy to use, just press a button and it will store all the stations for you or you can enter the frequency you want. I sometimes download podcasts to a memory card for listening anytime I want. Good construction, great sound, not a bad radio for the price. Just wish AM had better reception.

Great little take along radio
I was looking for a small radio that fits in my shirt pocket when I take the dog for a walk and this fit the bill. Great sound, easy tuning and portable. I usually don't use ear buds but the option is there if I want it. Working great for my needs and a great value.

Taking charge of your 9 volt batteries and making them last longer.
I own a smart charger for my AA/AAA batteries and love it, so when I saw the Opus BT-C96 I decided to give it a try and I haven't been disappointed. There is a learning curve though because it has several functions. It comes with a four page instruction book that covers everything to get you started, I also did some research by reading some of the reviews for the other Opus chargers on some of the forums out there (yes, there are battery and charger geeks out there). Some reviews went into more depth than I can here and they do basically the same thing. The charger is smaller than I expected, it's hard to judge it's size by a picture. It measures 4 3/4 in by 3 3/4 in by 1 in., so it's nice and compact. It comes with an AC plug and the instructions. Does it work off of DC? Don't know. DC Workshop sells the Opus chargers on Ebay and they have a DC plug, don't know if it will work on this charger though. They are based in Sacramento The case is made of hard plastic and looks and feels very durable. There are two buttons on each side to control each function, Mode, Display, Current, and Slot. I read somewhere that there was a concern that they might eventually break because they are pressed plastic, but they appear to be durable. The display lights up when you plug it in and stays on. There are five modes of operation; Charge, Discharge, Charge/refresh, Charge/test, and Quick test. You can insert one to four batteries and perform 1 operation on all the batteries with just one setting or perform different operations by using the slot button and set each one indepentally. You can also check on their progress by toggling the display button. It will show you the Charge/Discharge Current, Elapsed Time, Accumulated Capacity, and Voltage. Pretty cool. I also need to mention that this charger will recharge several different rechargeable batteries, 6KR61, 6HR61, 7.2V, 8.4V, and 9.6V. Another nice feature is that you van set it and forget it. When the operation is done it will perform a trickle charge until you remove the batteries or unplug it. If you just want to charge your battery fast with a lot of current then go for the cheap one-size-fits-all chargers, but if you want to take care of them and even restore some poor performers, I would highly recommend this charger.
