Excellent dye
Stuff really works. First coating is very light, but it dries fast. Just keep adding and adding until the right richness and depth is achieved.

Inexpensive Carbon Fiber Bow- with caveats
One must first realize this is a "carbon fiber" bow for under $25. Can't expect a $200 bow. The bow holds in the hand well and is balanced. But there are numerous downsides:
* The hairs are flimsy and easy to break (three were already broken upon opening the package). There are fewer hairs than desired and they are thin. This produces a low-volume mellow sound, but not rich and vibrant. Nevertheless the sound is acceptable and even pleasant.
* The bow itself is fine, but unlike some claims actually weighed more my exact-size wood bow (I measured it on a shipping scale-- wood: 2.2 oz carbon 2.3 oz). To be honest this fact causes me to question the "light weight carbon fiber" claim. Still, it seems sturdy and straight enough, and it could be my wood bow was just unusually light weight.
* The first thing I'd recommend is purchasing a quality hair replacement kit and replacing the hairs. Of course that will cost more, but price quality carbon fiber bows and decide. (The trick is finding quality re-stringing kits at a reasonable price.)
* The bow feels nice to the hand... but identical to the wood bow I already owned. No difference.
* It is unlikely this bow will ever warp and break; that is a plus. Still, I wouldn't leave it in a hot car.
* The primary purpose of purchasing this bow is the low cost and "I own a carbon fiber bow". There is also the factor of being impervious to humidity (except for the horse hair of course). Be sure to rosin it very well first use and of course, regularly thereafter.
Bonus: This comes shipped in a long piece of PVC pipe so hey... free PVC. :D Myself, I'd keep it and use it to transport the bow. Won't find a much stronger bow case.
Overall, the price is very reasonable, but I could have stuck with my wood bow and done fine. If you're satisfied with the sound and play of your current bow, the decision comes down to how much you want a carbon fiber bow. If your current bow isn't cutting it, sure, try something different. Just be aware of the points above.

Poor quality throughout
1 of 1 found this helpful Poorly designed and manufactured levers are extremely stiff and don't work. Gig bag is basic canvas, overly tight and hard to use.
