Ok as a replacement, wish it were better built
Purchased this to replace a 15-yr old latch on my sliders. This one appeared to be nearly identical, but I don't believe it will stand the test of time. As it is, it has to latch perfectly to serve its purpose. When I set it. I always wiggle the door a few times to ensure it will hold. It generally pops up a couple times before it stays latched. I still end up putting a stick in the door as I don't feel this will deter any would be thieves.
