Solid quality
well it's an OS map so what can I say. This is the laminated version. It's bulky but I've been using it for walking round the area and it's excellent. Hope it lasts as well as the apparent quality seems to suggest

Great value alternative e-book reader
Bought this to replace a PRS500 and it's a big improvement. Looks and feels better. Button interface simplified. Seems to respond quicker. Reads generic ebook formats like ePub and isn't tied to a particular provider like a Kindle is. Feels solid and well made and is a decent heft in the hand. Not sure that the ability to draw or sketch has much value but the ability to play music while reading is terrific.
If you don't know, these use a different screen technology from a tablet - the screen uses an electrostatic pigment that requires little power. It isn't luminescent so can't be read in the dark; but the brighter the light, the better it can be read so can be read in the sun. Great for holiday reading.
The only downside, shared with other Sony PRS readers is charging.....it's a bit tricky. It will only charge from a USB that is attached to a PC via a data USB cable. They will not charge using a USB wall charger or if you use a non-data cable attached to your PC. But then again they don't use much power so charging is an infrequent necessity.
The processor is also a bit old technology so it isn't speedy fast to turn on or respond to menu commands but the long battery life and ability to read in the sun makes it a terrific product for holidays and there are great bargains out there.
Check with the vendor that the battery is ok, and that it will take and hold a charge as some out there are a bit past it.

Pretty seems to be pretty good quality but without the app being available it's use is limited
0 of 2 found this helpful I'm marking it down for the simple reason that you can no longer download the app for it. I spent two days googling with no luck. The apps that are available on the store are not compatible. So although the gimbal seems to be well made and high quality the functionality is rather limited.
