Issues with power switch
1 of 1 found this helpful After a year of weekly use, I have issues with the power switch. The vacuum cleaner doesn't want to turn on with a simple press of the power button. Sometimes I have to press the button several times in different positions for the vacuum to turn on. Once it's off, I can't turn it back on right away. This is my second Oreck Magnesium vacuum and I'm not sure what the issue is with the unit. The seller advised the product as brand new, but now I'm beginning to wonder if my unit was refurbished. Taking my vacuum to an Oreck repair store this week for diagnosis of the issue. Hopefully it will be cost effective to repair.
