Okay, that was funny. But now I have to go to the post office.
The size of the cords in the photos make these look like they'd be about the diameter of a soda can. Nope. The smallest one is SMALLER than an egg shaker. When I held it up to the screen, the scale of the cords is clearly different. I don't know if the individually sold versions are larger perhaps? I'm returning these because they belong in a doll house. Modulating the pitch by putting little drumheads at the end is a great idea, that's why I bought them. But also the size of the beads inside is too coarse, making these sound more like mini maracas than shakers. You might like these, I might have liked them if I didn't feel duped.

Overpriced
Only works with one of the iPads in the house, too heavy, slippery, way overpriced compared to other stylii I've used.

A True Drum Machine
So, I'm a drummer mostly, but I like to play the piano and synths and record little song ideas. This is the best sounding drum machine on the planet - the groove is so good, the patterns are interesting and tasteful, and it's drop dead simple. Something other reviews and demos don't illustrate (at least in my research) is how the patterns simplify at lower tempos. Other machines have had a "complexity" slider and such, but this does it solely by tempo. And as expected, it does this very well. Occasionally I've wished I could keep a 60-80 bpm pattern going up above 80 bpm, etc. but that's a minor thing. This is just such an inspiring songwriting, practicing, and possibly open-mic-type performing tool. No, you can't edit patterns - I don't want to. No, you can't play in 5/8. That's a bummer and it would be nice to have a few swappable slots for downloading stuff like that. And finally, no MIDI which will definitely kill this device for a lot of people. I'd like it just so that it would sync to the little sequencer/recorder on my Yamaha Clavinova. But let's just call this the WORLD'S BEST SLIGHTLY OVERPRICED GROOVIEST METRONOME EVER.
