Great Loco , when it works.
I love the detail and all the features, but it didn't last too long before it stopped responding correctly. Sometimes it will just sit there making all the correct sounds and then take off like a rocket, other times it will be running smooth and come to a screeching halt, making terrible grinding noise. It is currently in the BWL repair shop waiting to be repaired, but there is a 15 week lead time before they even look at it. I have a total of 4 Broadway Limited locomotives, all have been back multiple times for repair, all have had major mechanical failures with the drive mechanism (gears, flywheels, motors). Broadway Limited's repair department is great to work with but they are forced to replace poorly made parts with the same poorly made parts. I have had 2 locomotives I bought new from authorized dealers in sealed boxes show up DOA. I have other locomotives from different makers that run on the same layout without a problem.

Don't Last Long
This is a replacement for a failed Lorex LW2231 camera. I have had 4 of these so far 3 have failed. The first two got water in them, they are supposed to be waterproof outdoor cameras. One stopped transmitting. I also had a power supply failure that I had to repair myself. Getting warranty replacements is a long difficult process with Lorex, it's like they try to discourage you from making a claim. This is the only wireless camera my system will take so I am stuck unless I want to replace the whole security system.

Not worth the price
A lot of money for a chunk of styrofoam, no adjustment for shorter or longer planes. A stiff breeze would probably destroy it.
