A well built, rake but with a built in, fault.
1 of 2 found this helpful A great telescopic,heavy duty, well built rake with an inherent design fault.
As you rake, the extendable handle pole, fails in it's locking position and you continually have to stop and place it, extend it, and lock it, yet again, into the position you wish, every 1 min, into it's lockable, handle position.
It seems to me personally, that the lock position, of less than 1/2 a turn, and the insufficient lock catch it self, is less than adequate for a rake of this price.
I do not mind paying more for a decent telescopic and extendable rake, as I am a professional gardener.
Good points, fairly well built, but all rivets are subject to failure,within a short period of time, and none of the rivets used on this item seem to have a higher quality over and above any other telescopic rake, and will be, inevitably, subject to failure, as their riveting, is not one of either the features or benefits in their marketing of this particular product.

The locking mechanism, on the extendable handle is wholly inadequate!!!!
