Okay, but not what I would expect from Spyderco

I have owned may hunting and tactical knives from Spyderco. I recently purchased this knife for kitchen use - expecting the same great product. Unfortunately, this knife started to rust after the first week of use (hand washing). Surface rust appeared on the side of the knife and on the blade. I brushed it off and it looks fine now. It is a really great, lightweight item - if you can stand having to hand wash, dry, and immediately apply mineral oil to it after every use.
