A pleasing upgrade
It has rejuvinated a tired laptop, saving the cost of a replacement, Start up speed is good and so far it has been reliable.

Does the job
Does the job but a difficulty when crimping as one grip crosses over the other at the business end of the tool when pressure put on it. A bit flimsy but ok if used with care. Would benefit from a bit of thoughtful reinforcement.

Not as easy as it looks
It would appear that this product is really only suitable to stick over an unworn heel. As the corners of my original heels were worn (as, I believe, is the case with over 90% of the population) the only reasonable solution was to cut the original rubber off. No mention of this in the instructions though. Not an easy task but I managed to get a surface to stick the new part to, even if it was a plastic skeleton.
I am unable to comment on the life span of these replacement heels but after a couple of miles the indications are not great, although time will tell!
