As new Camera. What I needed !
This is a back-up for my existing identical, but 15 year old camera. This one appears to have never been used, and works perfectly.

Not what I thought I was getting
1 of 1 found this helpful Looking at the photo, I thought the "honeycomb" frame would be closed at the bottom. It is actually a downward facing cup (see photo), which creates a large amount of sliding friction - making snow-shoeing hard work in many conditions. Also, although I weight only about 150 lbs, the snowshoes sink into powder snow too much. Finally the plastic covers for the small metal cones on the bottom (see photo) come off easily, putting plastic pollution into the environment. Finally no instruction manual that would have explained the reason for those plastic covers (are they only intended for shipping ?). The positives are (1) the binding system which makes it very easy to attach them to your boots, though not quite so easy to get off, (2) the heel and toe crampon, which work well for climbing, (3) the apparent standard of construction, though I've only used them for one outing so far.
