Tech Sights Aperture Sight for Ruger 10/22 TSR200
Feb 22, 2018
Best sights available.
TechSights are by far the best product on the market. I've been shooting since I was 5, and these are the best, I have them on all 5 of my .22s and have helped 15 people install them now, and never heard a single complaint. Honestly the stock V sights that come on rifles are terrible for new and experienced shooters alike, and many people don't believe that open sights are accurate because of them. Scopes are delicate and bulky, and for a .22 totally unnecessary. If you want a compact, super durable, user-friendly, hyper accurate sight that will outlast your rifle, these are the best. Recommended by Appleseed and virtually all shooting instructors, these are worth every penny, you won't be disappointed. It is noteworthy that while these are the best all around product available, they are not ideal for low-light conditions. If your goal is low light, a red dot is better. Thankfully TechSights now makes a rail mounted sight system called the TSR200RL which will cowitness with low profile red dots, which is nice because of the battery dies in your red dot you can still aim your gun.
VISM Ruger 10/22 Rifle Muzzle Brake 14 Ports Reduce Felt Recoil Rise Steel 2.3"

Great design, terrible metal quality.
For a slip-on brake, this is well-designed and well-made. The fit over the barrel end was very tight, just as it should be. Unfortunately it was made of extremely low quality metal, which is nowhere near strong enough to apply proper tension on the set screw, leading to almost immediate stripping of the metal, which feels a lot like pewter. The machining quality was it's saving grace. I liberally applied locktight to the entire contact area, installed it, and crossthreaded the set screw in at a harsh angle to force a catch. If it falls off, I'll drill and rethread for a larger set screw, now understanding that the metal has slightly less structural integrity than cold butter.

Great Bluetooth and Sound with '80s video Game Graphics
The Good: -The bluetooth range is fantastic. I can stand 30 feet from my closed pickup with my iphone 6s and it's crystal clear. -The sound quality is better than I expected. I was a sound tech, and i'm picky. I didn't expect much for the price, but even via bluetooth, it's warm and rich. I'm impressed. -The hands-free phone system works well, microphone is good quality, sound is clear. -It automatically repairs with bluetooth. -Installation was a breeze, and it is a true double-din, fits perfectly in the double-din slot of my 2000 Tacoma. -CD player, Bluetooth, Aux, Radio, and SD all play music perfectly. -The body and face look really nice. It looks sharp in the truck, right up until you turn it on. -Touchscreen sensitivity is pretty good. Not great, but totally usable. The Bad: -The USB input does not play music. if you plug anything into the USB port, it flashes a terrifying all blue screen that says, in yellow all caps: WARNING VIDEO NOT AVAILABLE WHILE DRIVING! and then it reverts to the FM radio. I don’t care about this since it has bluetooth and an AUX input, but if you’re really passionate about playing music via USB, look elsewhere. It does charge via the USB. -The controls for navigating the music on the SD card are basically non-existent. You can scroll through the first five letters of the album names. No way to see the artists until the songs are playing, and even then it’s weird and not intuitive. Honestly, the cognitive dissonance between the fact that it’s a touch screen with 80’s graphics and terrible coding is trippy. It feels like you should navigate these controls with a large, clunky keyboard; but no, you just tap. -The Bluetooth doesn’t automatically play again if you turn the car off and then on. It pairs, but it doesn’t send the ‘play’ command to the broadcasting device. The SD, CD, and Radio all do, but you have to tap the ‘play’ button to get the bluetooth playing again. The Ugly: -The graphics are so terrible that they're hilarious. That picture of a yellow car in the promo shot is total BS, this thing is pure 1990s 8-bit graphics. Took me a few days to realize what it reminds me of, but it's exactly like original Nintendo. Everything is in ALL CAPS with [MANY BRACKETS] and [ADJECTIVE] residual [NOUN] code still left in the display. Overall this is probably the least glamorous touch screen bluetooth car stereo I’ve ever seen. If your goal is to impress dates with how cool your stereo is, look elsewhere, unless your dates really love ‘80s gaming. If what you want is good sound quality, a hilarious video interface, a pretty impressive bluetooth receiver, and the ability to have easy hands-free calling for a super cheap price, this is a pretty good buy. For 90$, I’m very happy with my purchase.
