A Classic!!! Learn To Be A Dictator!!!
THis is one of my favorite books of all time....It is sorta hard to read....Sometimes you have to re read the sentence a few times to get the meaning...It is very succinct writing...You can tell Machiavelli really took time to write it without wasting words....Most of the thoeries can be applied to modern politics...This book is timeless...It is basically a handbook on how to rule a country or as Machiavelli calls them,"Principalities "

Good Book For Starters..Quick Sketches
1 of 1 found this helpful I think this would be a good book for starters on Mountain Men...I like the way the biographies are "sketches"...Makes for quick reading...The footnotes have a lot of info if you want to explore further.....If you want more detailed info you could read A Life Wild and Perilous by Utley....This book had a lot of primary sources which is always nice...I also like the way it is sorta ordered chronologically
