It's a no for me
0 of 1 found this helpful It's a plastic piece of trash, came with loose skrews and plastic flashing so it really has no quality control. It's one of the few brands I hadn't tried so I thought why not, but I will never buy 13 fishing again. I honestly think I'll wear them out in a single season. Do yourself a favor and buy a tatula or curado.

Unimpressed
This reel is pretty bad. I'm a serious tournament fisherman, and I bought a couple of these to put on rods I don't use as much. Within a couple months of owning them, I wore the gears out in one of them, and the other one's drag broke on a hookset. If you're on a budget the abu garcia black max is a way better reel, but if you can afford something a little nicer get a tatula, revo, or curado. I probably only put 20 hours into each of the reels, so they should not be having any issues yet, and many of my nicer reels have lasted for years so it isn't user error.
