Hello, I'm a lifelong obsessive mineral collector, who has decided to sell minerals, so I can keep collecting (selling also makes it easier to justify my ongoing mineral obsession to my spouse). My specialty is classic localities, from the USA and worldwide, with many types of minerals and localities included. Interests have varied over the years but are broad. I do hear all the time that mineral collectors sometimes specialize and confine. This makes practical sense, Yet, I have always found it hard to confine to a specific mineralogy or locality, as interests tend to change, like the seasons. Sometimes you stay put for a while, but then curiosity will change the direction again. I do buy collections to replenish stock and always look for older mineral collections, ideally with labels and Provenance .
