Above average budget earphone for mp3 on the go

Using an old Samsung mp3 player & the sound quality with these is better than average for a budget earphone (def better than the JVC gum for sure - which I also have). I seem to get through a lot of earphones at the gym & running - mostly the wire connection to the jack gets loose - hence I'm reluctant to pay much for replacements. These are a good compromise. The in-ear buds improve the sound experience (if only by blocking outside noise). Will have to wait to see how robust they are - would have been nice to get a straight jack rather than an L-shaped one, but they are thin on the ground.
