SOG S1 Bowie "Vietnam 5th Special Forces Group"
It took me a while to come across this knife, but finally found one on eBay. This one is going in my collection, but I know from the research I've done that the SK-5 steel can handle pretty much anything you can throw at it. Mine came in good shape with very little markings on it. I plan to clean the blade and oil it and use some Pecard Leather Dressing on the stacked leather handle. And lastly, the handle fits my extra large hands. (Photos taken at work)

One of the best starter kits you can buy!
I've been a casual picker for about 15 years. It's a good stress reliever and a challenge. It's also useful for when people loose their keys. I've only unlocked 3 locks for people, but the options are very costly. Anyways, I bought this economy set to try out the rubber/foam grips. I usually put heat shrink tubing on the picks if I'm using them on my box of padlocks so I figured these would be different. They are very comfortable. I would recommend a drop of super glue of you don't want them to move, but the sleeves do fit very tight. (You have to put the sleeves on yourself.) The only con I can see is that you loose a bit of the feedback you would normally feel, but this shouldn't matter much for a beginner. And you can always slide the sleeves off if you're having issues, as long as you didn't glue them.
