BRASS - PENN CENTRAL TRANSFER CABOOSE / CLASS N6A / USED ON MANY ROADS
Jan 16, 2018
.For Penn Central, Better than the Plastic Version
These brass transfer cabooses are more prototypical for Penn Central than the plastic version released a few years ago. The cab was too short on the plastic model, as the NYC/PC cabs were longer, with shorter porches on each end. I've decorated several of these for PC and they are great models that are easy to paint and decal.

WALTHERS 932-7892 4-AXLE 90 TON GSC DEPRESSED CENTER FLAT CAR WESTINGHOUSE WECX
Jun 17, 2019
All metal(?) nice car!
I believe these gold line depressed center flatcars are made from one piece cast steel or aluminum. Yes, all metal. They are noticeably heavier than the Exactrail versions. Unlike the Exactrail models, the walthers version does not have a perforated deck. I have two of the gold line models loaded with the walthers transformer and they look great.
Magnum P.I. - The Complete First Season (DVD, 2012, 6-Disc Set) BRAND NEW SEALED
Mar 24, 2017
Buy it if you're a fan
I was a big Magnum P.I. fan in the '80s, and enjoyed watching the repeats in the early 1990s, and again in the early 2000s. I hadn't seen any episode since then so I decided to start buying the seasons on DVD one by one. This season one DVD set features the episodes as they originally aired - uncut 50 minute episodes - including the use of the original opening theme music for the first 10 or 11 episodes. That music is quite different from its replacement that became so popular, written by Mike Post and Pete Carpenter. I remember hearing the theme on the radio many times during the summer of 1981. Bottom line - buy it.
