Disappointing battery
Bought this to replace another with deteriorating battery life. This one is no better and also needed a complete restore the other day after the battery drained completely. Probably normal for a device that age, but the description did mention 'holds charge', which it does, but not for long.

Works perfectly, but takes some time - be prepared

But - be prepared to download a very large file (took several hours - my internet is decent, but download speed was +/- 500 kbps), then unzip it, then transfer to a USB data stick, then (in my car) about 40 minutes to install.

Excellent functionality; minor practical issue.
Comfortable to wear (strap a bit fiddly, however): finds satellites well; distances seem accurate; battery lasts well (36 no problem); easy to update. My only issue is with the operation of the up/down (left-side) buttons. The watch needs to be braced/pinched when using them (e.g. for accessing hazard info during play), and it is easy to activate the right-side buttons while doing so.
A minor quibble, hence the rating.
