Good Sound Decoder but now rare & expensive
This is a sound module offered initially by Bachmann Trains for one of its “Sound Ready”On30 Scale Steam locomotives, in this case Bachmann’s 2-6-0. It can also be used in several of their other “Sound Ready” steam locomotives. It is easy to install and the sound quality seems good to me, although I think sound quality is a matter of personal preferences. The only problem is that Bachmann has stopped offering these sound modules and they have become very expensive ($120 plus), if you can find them at all.

Bachmann On30 Whitcomb Diesel
This is a very attractive, well engineered On30 diesel locomotive. Tractive effort is excellent and the sound module adds very good sound effects.
