I love this thing
The egg-timer by Norpro works flawlessly. If you don't have this, then you HAVE to use the same pot every time with the same amt of water and the same number of eggs, and learn by your mistakes. With the Norpro, these variables are taken into account and you get a perfect egg every time. I just bought a second one. My first lasted 22 years. Mind you, it still worked but the eggs were more done than it indicated. I made the mistake of keeping it just to the right of the stove and adjacent to the most popular burner for 22 yrs, so I think it got heat-cured over time. I suspect that if you store your Norpro in a drawer, it might last you 40+ years. The new one works perfectly. I was gonna buy the cheaper knockoff but I read all the reviews (took forever) and it looks like some people got what they paid for. Decided not to chance it just to save three bucks, I'll likely have this egg-timer for the rest of my life. Religiously taking it out of the hot water a moment before you pull out the egg(s), may prolong its useful life considerably, I reckon. The only drawback to this product that I can see, is that if you decide to cook up another egg, you must first put the egg-timer in a pot of cold water for 25 mins to cool it down & reset it. Obviously, you can work around that problem with a second egg-timer. Huh, they should probably pay me for this review. Remarkably, I'm uncompensated. I'm not just a customer.. I'm the president of the company. No I'm not. I've recommended maybe two products in my life, and this is one of them. It's good.

It's good
I like this spreader, it's the perfect thing for putting cream cheese on bagels.
But after you've paid for tax and shipping, you've shelled out over ten bucks for a spreader. That's extravagant. Call me a miser, but I'd be happier spending $1 on a used implement at St. Vincent de Paul.
Still a good spreader.
