What an easy fix!
I love my '86 Camry, but it was starting to drive strangely as the control arm bushings wore out. On throttle, it pulled to the left, off throttle it pulled to the right, really a mess. So, a friend suggested I install these bushings.
What a difference!
The old bushings were destroyed (made it 31 years!), so I used an air hammer with a chisel attachment to knock them out of the control arms. These bushings are two piece, which makes them very easy to install. I was able to put them almost all the way in by hand, and then persuaded them with a hammer until they had seated all the way.
I didn't replace the inner bushings (the smaller ones), as mine looked fine and they are much harder to remove than the big bushings.
The car drives great, and the road feel has improved greatly! This is a must for any 83-86 Camry! Plus, they are priced fair and ship fast.
