Bad quality control
3 of 3 found this helpful Upon first use, the chainsaw started easily, but the chain was not getting any oil. After cleaning the bar oil reservoir in vain, I had to remove the clutch to access the oiler rod. The oiler was completely stuck, which had caused its plastic sprocket to be stripped on one side. The replacement rod cost about $13, and the chainsaw performed flawlessly afterwards.
In addition, the handle was filled with muddy water, which had to be drained (by leaving the chainsaw upside-down overnight, filling it with WD40, and repeating).
The chainsaw worked eventually, but it should not have been cleared for resale.
