Epiphone Hummingbird - a modern classic
Beautiful Epiphone guitar with distinctive Hummingbird looks - plays well, sounds good and I am sure it will get even better.

Fringe - X-Files for the millennium
Great to get another chance to watch this outstanding sci-fi series. It is a little 'monster of the week' but throws out some mind-bending ideas, all of which are dealt with so matter-of-factly by the Fringe team. Also Walter's bonkers approach to life is ever-entertaining.
Typically of JJ Abrams that his transition from one universe to another should be a lens flare - his signature visual effect!

Lightweight mower does the job
Resisted getting a battery mower because I thought our lawn was too big, but when our wired Aldi mower gave up I took the plunge. The new mower feels like a lightweight but does the lawn in half the time of the old one because no messing around with cables. Battery enhausted after 20 minutes leave just a couple of square metres unmowed. Recharged in just over an hour to finish the lawn. Good cut - a little more clattery than I expected, but very efficient, lightweight, easy to use and does the job.
