Not quite the right part for 2004 Mazda 3 automatic transmission.
It doesn't quite fit. Close, but not close enough. It was said to fit my 2004 Mazda 3, but it doesn't. If I use the photo attached to this rating page; the narrowest width on the end that goes to the back side of the transmission (on the right in the picture here), is too wide for my car. The one shown in the picture would fit, as it is narrow enough. The one I was shipped is subtly different in that regard and a few of the bolts that hold the assembly together. In the photo I attached, the one on the left is the one I took out of the car; the left the one I was shipped.

It works great
It worked. The car drives better than it has in 150,000 miles! I would add one would do well to replace the axle seal on the transmission also, whenever you go to the trouble of replacing the drive axle.

Energy Boost without caffeine, or other stimulants
It is great non-caffeinated product to boost my energy after a meal or in the afternoons
