I like the mirrors in my wife's Volt and I am going to install these in my 48 Chevy custom pickup.

Recommended if you have assembly experience, understand wood and have reasonable quality expectations
3 of 3 found this helpful The chairs come mostly assembled. The base and ottoman are assembled and functions as designed.
They are made out of Douglas Fir (as described) which is a soft wood which means you can't sit on the arm rest without asking for problems.
Not designed for wide or heavy people but well proportioned.
Quality to price ratio is favorable for people that have some time to improve the finish. i.e. Paint.
This wood is not adequately finished for outdoor use. Water will swell this wood and cracks will happen. Even moister from the air or dew will get soaked up over time especially with the open pore end grain.
$65 for a years use...maybe two if you cover them or bring them inside.
I am in the process of painting mine with two coats of Kilz primer and finishing with a gloss outdoor paint. No kids or dogs. Just my petite wife and I so, we won't be abusing the chairs. BTW cracked wood cane be glued back together if you know how to do that. I expect these chairs to last many many years with some maintenance.
