Blown away by how great this looks in person.
0 of 1 found this helpful Although the figure won't be opened, it looks fantastic from the box. Highly detailed representation of our beloved Grimlock. One thing to note is you'll notice an Autobot shaped hole in the translucent gold chest piece. There's a cool little gimmick that when you transform him into robot mode, an Autobot symbol will appear.
Compared to the the recent Hasbro re-release, this original 2010 Hasbro release has a darker grey plastic, some additional tampographs, and a more clear green tint on the clear parts.
Great figure that I highly recommend!

This Is Bad Comedy
Has floppy shoulders and loose torso (by design) making the figure not much for handling. Others will complain about the up side down Decepticon wing logos. Other than that, it has a great shelf presence, stability, and paint. Great accessories to reenact the crown ceremony from the original animated movie. The scene right before Galvatron literally blasts him to dust.

Great for the Adult Collector
If you grew up in the 80's, this is a great representation in modern toy technology for you. Great articulation, size, and even packaging! Highly recommend!
