An older appliance, but still up to the job.
I had a modern food processor that I found fussy to use because the complicated interlocks often "locked up" the device as a safety precaution. When the motor blew out, I bought this unit, which is the same one my mother had in the 1980s.
I find it's more robustly constructed than the new units, the safety interlocks work reliably and the whole thing is easy to clean. I actually just used it this morning to make soup and it cleared through a mountain of carrots, celery, and onions.
